Open Position: Vice-President, Global Development

Responsibilities Include:

  • Partnering with the Chief Development Officer (CDO) in major fundraising initiatives.
  • Overseeing high-impact donor relationships throughout their lifecycle.
  • Cultivating and maintaining relationships with diverse donors globally.
  • Collaborating with various departments to implement JA Worldwide’s operating and financial strategy.
  • Leading comprehensive research on funding sources and trends.
  • Designing and implementing a stewardship program to deepen connections with donors.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the progress of the development program.


  • 10+ years of experience in fundraising, development, or philanthropy.
  • Demonstrated leadership in global fundraising.
  • Strong strategic planning skills for diverse, fast-paced global markets.
  • International work experience.
  • Passion for JA Worldwide’s mission.

Other Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, nonprofit management, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with diverse revenue-generation models and social-impact bonds.
  • Ability to conduct business in English; a second language is a plus.

Location and Position:

  • Remote
  • Full-time, Exempt
  • 5% travel expected
